The Scholarship Program
Application Period
The application period is from July 31 to October 31 of each year.
Program Objective
The Ndokwa Association in America Scholarship Foundation aims to improve Ndokwa human capital through investment in education.
Scholarship Value
A full scholarship award of $500 per academic year is given to each Local Government Area: Ndokwa East, Ndokwa West, and Ukwuani.
Funds are paid directly to the university bursary office.
Scholarship Criteria
Ndokwa Indigene
Must be an Ndokwa indigene by parentage (Father or Mother).
Academic Requirement
Must be enrolled in undergraduate or HND program in any Nigerian higher institution.
Selection Basis
Selection is based on need and academic merit.
GPA Requirement
Minimum GPA: 2.5 (4-point scale) or 3.0 (5-point scale).
Recommendation Letters
Two letters required: academic adviser + notarized JP identification letter.
Internship Rule
Recipients must notify NAIA of any internship, SIWES, or industrial training.
Selection Process
1. Application Submission
Complete the online form.
2. Shortlisting
Internal review of applications.
3. Notification
Selected candidates are contacted.
4. Verification
Original documents are checked.
5. Final Selection
Committee final approval.
6. Award
Scholarship is officially announced.

Essay Requirement
Applicants must submit a typed essay (minimum one page, 12pt font) describing academic and career goals and the value of education in achieving them.
Essays are graded on grammar, originality, spelling, punctuation, and content quality.
Accepted formats: Word, PDF, RTF.
